The Student Unions Advisory Council is accepting applications for student membership! The Council was created with a goal to increase campus participation in the development of Union operational policies.

Come and be a part of the "Vision" for the Arizona Student Unions and involve yourself in:

  • Representing a student view in Student Union discussions
  • Opportunities to bring forth ideas for the Unions
  • Information sharing
  • Selecting and recognizing outstanding University achievements
  • Union policy reviews
  • Union recommendations
  • Future direction of Unions
  • Ideas directly involving Union projects
  • Discuss and recommend new policies
  • Be part of the Secret Shopper Program

This Council provides a forum for the objective exchange of ideas and opinions to increase our efforts in ensuring quality programs and services!

Members are expected to attend all meetings and assume an active role in the Council. Membership is for ten months (August through May). Four two-hour meetings will be held in the Student Union Memorial Center during this term.

To best represent campus diversity and campus groups, the Student Unions Advisory Council membership seeks a minimum of nine students to join staff, alumni, faculty and community members. Students play a predominant role on the Council and have a majority voting status.
