The Center for Leadership and Social Change is part of the University of Arizona and is home to several leadership programs and initiatives that serve students, faculty and staff from the University of Arizona and other educational institutions as well as community members and organizations.
The mission of the Center for Leadership and Social Change is to integrate service, social justice, and leadership into all programs and opportunities in an effort to help build leaders to engage in social change initiatives in our ever-changing global world. Our philosophy is that leadership development is not for the few privileged but should be affordable, accessible, and inclusive in order to develop leadership capacity in all people.

ATLAS (Applied Tailored Leadership Adventure for Students) is a self-paced leadership certificate program that lets you choose the workshops, events, self-reflection and timing so you build leadership skills on your schedule. To find out more about ATLAS, click here. |

The Arizona Blue Chip Program is a comprehensive co-curricular leadership program. Approximately 600 students take part in this four-phase leadership program. Work with team-based activities, leadership courses, community service, and social justice initiatives while building strong bonds with fellow Blue Chip members. For more information, click here. |

Leadership courses through the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership are 1-3 credit academic courses designed to prepare you for leadership responsibilities on campus and in the larger community. Choose from twenty-two different upper and lower-division leadership courses. |

Equiss: A Social Justice Experience Equiss is a highly interactive and reflective experience for college students who want to be challenged to analyze systems of oppression in society. Through this 3-day overnight retreat, participants will learn about issues of social justice and strategies to confront oppression and injustice in everyday ways. Participants are then empowered to create a personal action plan at the conclusion of the retreat. |

LINX is an initiative through the Center for Leadership and Social Change at the University of Arizona to link student leadership programs from different institutions to each other. Programs linked through the LINX can participate in collaborative programming, student leadership exchanges, and leadership program articulation agreements, collaborative community service trips, joint speaker initiatives, mentoring, and other student leadership development opportunities that transcend campus boundaries.

The National Collegiate Leadership Conference is a student-run annual conference that serves as the cornerstone of the leadership experience for hundreds of college students across the nation. The conference spans three days at the University of Arizona, offering over sixty workshops, community service projects, teambuilding and networking activities, motivational speakers, and a dinner with a nationally recognized keynote speaker.
