helps develop the relationship between the UA campus and the Tucson community by organizing and facilitating community service projects and partnerships. We promote and assist with philanthropic events for organizations on campus and in the community.

Community Contacts through Project Volunteer

Project Volunteer has relationships with many community organizations throughout the greater Tucson area. While some of these establishments may require a weekly commitment, others offer unlimited opportunities for one time volunteering. Find out more about these Project Volunteer affiliated organizations and search for just the right volunteering opportunity for you!

Things to consider before choosing an organization to volunteer with:

    1. Do I work best with my peers, people younger then me, or people older than myself?
    2. Is there any specific issue that really interests me or that I feel strongly about? (i.e. Hunger related issues)
    3. When I lose track of time, what am I doing? What do I love to do?
    4. What have I always wanted to spend time volunteering for?
    5. Volunteering for this type of an organization would make me feel most fulfilled as I left each time.
