The University of Arizona earned an A rating on the 2025 College and University Protein Sustainability Scorecard from the Humane Society of the United States, placing it among the nation’s top five institutions for sustainable dining. With nearly 40% of its menu options being plant-based, Arizona Dining is making bold strides in providing eco-friendly, health-conscious choices that appeal to students and faculty alike.
This achievement highlights UofA’s commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation in dining. As a new member of the 2025 Forward Food Advisory Council, the university is set to continue leading the way in promoting climate-friendly dining across higher education.
