Esports Arena User Agreements

Before your first session, all customers are required to review and sign our user agreement below.

 In accordance with the University of Arizona, all code of conduct policies as outlined at policy.arizona.edu shall be followed by all participants at the Arizona Esports Arena 

  • A full Arizona Esports Arena policy book is available online at union.arizona.edu. 
  • Directions and instructions provided to customers from the Arena Staff shall be respectfully followed. 
  • ALL users of the Arizona Esports Arena must read, understand, and sign this agreement form. 
  • Failure to abide by the rules of the Arizona Esports Arena may result in removal or disciplinary action. 
  • EPILEPSY WARNING! The Esports Arena contains colored LEDs which produce colored lighting effects. 

Rules and Agreements 

  • Gaming content at the Arena may have an ESRB rating of “M” for ages 17+. If you are under the age of 18, a parent, guardian, or chaperone must also sign this agreement form. 
  • Generally, a violation of any rules may result in a 3-strike system with the 3rd strike resulting in immediate removal from the Arena. This is at the discretion of staff and may be accelerated based on severity. 
  • Gaming can be full of passion, and we love that! We ask that you keep language at a PG-13 level. 
  • Derogatory slurs or aggressive language of any kind, even without profanity, will not be tolerated. 
  • You may bring your own peripherals, but the Arena is not responsible for any technical issues or time lost. 
  • Equipment check-out is available at no extra cost. Arena staff will hold your CatCard or ID while in use. 
  • Food is not permitted at the gaming stations. Drinks may be kept in a sealable container on the left side of the desks. No open containers are allowed. 
  • Do not misuse, unplug, or tamper with computers, consoles, lighting, networking, cabling, etc. 
  • Improper use that leads to damage of the gaming stations is prohibited. o In the event of damage, you will be liable for the cost of replacement. 
  • The moving or fixing of any stations or computer towers can only be done by Arena staff. 
  • Climbing on any pipes, beams, or structural supports is STRICTLY prohibited. 
  • No smoking or vaping at any time as outlined by UArizona’s Smoking and Tobacco Policy. 
  • Events use of the Arena is common. Staff will provide a 1-hour warning to move stations if needed. o A full calendar of pre-planned events is available on our website. 
  • Gaming stations are on a first come first serve basis and the Arena has a limited number of RTX 3070 stations. Reserving seats as a walk-in is prohibited. 
  • If the Arena reaches 100% capacity, customers will be placed on a waitlist for the next available station. 
  • There will be NO monetary refunds. Refunds will be completed by adding additional time. 
  • Attempting to bypass the gaming management software will result in a ban from the Arena. 
  • Cheating or any action resulting in a ban on a game account will result in an Arena ban. 
  • When leaving the Arena, it is your responsibility to sign out of open applications BEFORE logging off.
